Barista

Maintain the warm, welcoming vibe of our cozy neighborhood lounge while bringing the energy needed to thrive during busy morning rushes and lively private gatherings. In this role, you will craft premium coffee and tea beverages, prepare fresh paninis and baked goods, and help bring our small events (up to 50 guests) to life through space setup and seamless hosting. We are looking for an adaptable, community-minded individual who takes pride in creating a comfort-focused experience for our guests, whether they are stopping in for a quiet latte or attending a special function.

Core Responsibilities

  • Craft premium beverages including specialty espresso drinks, loose-leaf teas, and seasonal specials.

  • Prepare and present food efficiently, operating the panini press and maintaining an appealing bakery display.

  • Provide warm hospitality by welcoming guests, guiding them through the menu, and handling point-of-sale transactions.

  • Execute event setups by arranging tables, chairs, and stations to prepare the lounge for private gatherings of up to 50 people.

  • Maintain lounge cleanliness through continuous clearing, dishwashing, and keeping the space tidy and inviting.

  • Adapt on the fly to seamlessly transition between quiet, cozy afternoons and fast-paced event environments.

Retail Associate

Ensure a welcoming environment for customers and a secure, organized space for our independent dealers. This role combines traditional retail customer service with unique inventory management, booth maintenance, social media engagement, and daily operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers navigating the mall and looking for specific items.

  • Operate the POS system efficiently while accurately tracking dealer codes for payouts.

  • Wrap fragile items securely and communicate "as-is" final sale policies clearly.

  • Execute opening and closing routines, including alarm management and till reconciliation.

  • Assist dealers with inventory drop-offs and monitor booth safety boundaries.

  • Capture photos of unique new arrivals to help fuel the mall's social media.

  • Lift up to 50 lbs independently to move furniture and heavy antique inventory.

  • Maintain continuous physical activity by walking the showroom floor and managing stock.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or customer-facing roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for antiques, vintage goods, collectibles, or interior design.

  • Strong attention to detail to accurately input alphanumeric dealer tracking codes.

  • Basic photography skills with a smartphone for social media content.

  • Reliable and trustworthy with independent opening and closing responsibilities.
